Duties
- Monitor security cameras and surveillance equipment to detect suspicious activity and ensure safety protocols are followed
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises, including building interiors, exteriors, and access points, to identify hazards or security breaches
- Control access to the facility by verifying identities, performing background checks when necessary, and managing entry logs using access control systems
- Respond swiftly to alarms or incidents, following emergency response procedures and coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed
- Write detailed incident reports documenting security breaches, accidents, or other noteworthy events with clarity and accuracy
- Assist visitors and staff by providing directions, answering questions, and maintaining a professional presence that enhances customer service experience
- Enforce compliance with security regulations and company policies while managing conflict de-escalation situations effectively
Qualifications
