Join our school near Los Altos, CA as a Resource Specialist Program Teacher, where your passion for student development and inclusive education will make a meaningful difference. Responsibilities

  • Design and implement individualized instructional plans tailored to each student’s unique needs and learning goals.
  • Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to coordinate support strategies.
  • Monitor student progress regularly, adjusting teaching methods and interventions as necessary to ensure growth.
  • Provide direct instruction and behavioral support to students in small group or one-on-one settings.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of student performance, interventions, and progress reports.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student engagement and confidence.
  • Participate in team meetings, professional development sessions, and school-wide initiatives focused on best practices in special education.

Skills

  • Proven experience working with students in an educational setting, preferably within a university or higher education environment.
  • Strong understanding of special education principles, accommodations, and individualized education programs (IEPs).
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff.
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning styles and behavioral needs.
  • Organized with keen attention to detail for tracking student progress and maintaining records.
  • Energetic approach combined with a genuine passion for fostering student growth and inclusion. Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $50.00 - $61.00 per hour
