Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled School Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team and make a lasting impact on students with diverse cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs. The ideal candidate is driven by a commitment to equity, student wellness, and evidence-based practices. You'll collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to assess student needs, support IEP development, and promote positive learning environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments to identify students' learning, behavioral, and emotional strengths and needs
  • Interpret evaluation results and share findings with IEP teams, families, and staff
  • Develop and support implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs) and 504 plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and specialists to design interventions that foster student success
  • Provide counseling services, behavioral consultation, and crisis intervention as needed
  • Monitor student progress and adjust recommendations to ensure effective outcomes
  • Advocate for the mental health and academic needs of students
  • Support families in understanding assessments and strategies to help their children
  • Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings to inform placement and services
  • Stay current with research and best practices in school psychology, mental health, and learning interventions
  • Foster safe, inclusive, and supportive environments that prioritize student well-being

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field (required)
  • Valid state credential or license to practice as a School Psychologist (required)
  • National Certification in School Psychology (NCSP) from NASP (preferred)
  • Experience with behavioral interventions, emotional regulation supports, and data-based decision-making (preferred)
  • Familiarity with diverse student populations, including those with autism, ADHD, and learning disabilities
  • Strong skills in communication, collaboration, and advocacy
  • Ability to build trust with students, families, and school teams
  • Passion for supporting the whole child and contributing to inclusive education

Pay: $ $65.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
