What are the responsibilities and job description for the Teen Leadership Program Coordinator position at Everwood Day Camp?
Are you passionate about helping teens build real-world readiness, empathy, and leadership skills in a fun, screen-free environment? Join Everwood Day Camp as our Teen Leadership Program Coordinator and lead programming for our 9th grade LEADers (Leadership, Exploration, and Development) and 10th grade Counselors in Training (CITs).
In this role, you’ll supervise a team of up to 5 Teen Mentors, help plan and facilitate daily leadership workshops with our Director of Teen Programming, and guide teens through service projects and camp-wide events where they can earn community service hours. Programming blends meaningful conversations about identity, inclusion, and responsibility with high-energy activities inspired by shows like Survivor, Traitors, Chopped, and Fear Factor.
You’ll also serve as a key point of contact for parent communication to support teen success throughout the summer.

IDEAL CANDIDATES
Teachers (middle school, high school, or advisory programs)
School counselors, youth development professionals, or coaches
Camp leadership staff with experience supervising older camper divisions or CIT programs
Students or professionals in education, psychology, social work, leadership studies, or youth development
Program coordinators with experience designing curriculum, service-learning opportunities, or experiential education
Mentors passionate about facilitating conversations around identity, inclusion, and belonging
DATES, HOURS, AND PAY
8:00am to 5:00pm (this includes a 30-minute break per day)
June 22nd to August 21st (9 weeks preferred - flexible start date)
Monday to Friday each week, off July 3rd
Salary range is $6772.50 for 9 weeks
Free Camper Tuition for 2 children of successful applicants ($14,700 value)
Staff Training is Tuesday June 2nd 4:30-9pm, Sunday June 7th 9am-4:30pm, and Saturday June 13th 10:30am-5pm. All training will have meals provided.
Leadership Team Training on Wednesdays evenings leading up to camp is also required.

Sharon, Massachusetts on the beautiful 350 acre Lake Massapoag!
Housing is not included.

Everwood Day Camp is an outdoor focused summer camp featuring many physically demanding activities on land and water. Staff members are regularly required to walk, hike and otherwise move in woods, fields, beaches, and lakes. To perform the job, each staff member of Everwood Day Camp must be physically able to travel around a large rural environment (fields, woods, beach, etc.) over uneven ground on a regular basis.
