This role is responsible for developing long-term partnerships with companies across the country, identifying hiring needs, and providing customized staffing and recruiting solutions. The ideal candidate is a proactive, relationship-focused sales professional who excels at driving new business, managing client relationships, and creating opportunities that connect exceptional talent with great organizations.
Essential Functions
- Develop and manage relationships with clients across multiple industries, including law firms, manufacturers, corporate offices, and technology organizations.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, direct outreach, and strategic partnerships.
- Consult with clients to understand their workforce needs and provide tailored staffing solutions for temporary, temp-to-hire, and direct hire placements.
- Collaborate closely with internal recruiting teams to deliver top-tier talent efficiently and effectively.
- Deliver outstanding client service, ensuring satisfaction, retention, and long-term growth of accounts.
- Manage and maintain a robust sales pipeline, leveraging CRM tools to track outreach, meetings, and opportunities.
- Achieve and exceed individual and team sales goals through consistent activity and client engagement.
- Participate in industry events, trade shows, and professional organizations to strengthen brand awareness and expand market reach.
- Provide market feedback and strategic insights to leadership to help shape business development initiatives.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or staffing/recruiting — experience in one or more of the following industries is highly preferred: Legal, Manufacturing, IT, or Professional Services.
- Strong relationship-building, presentation, and negotiation skills with decision-makers at all levels.
- Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with a national team.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and lead generation platforms.
- Passion for helping clients build teams and connecting people with meaningful career opportunities.
