Litigation Paralegal – Plaintiff Personal Injury
Location: Dallas, TX (Uptown)
Schedule: Full-Time | In-Office
A well-established boutique plaintiff personal injury law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys managing complex litigation matters and working closely with attorneys through every stage of the litigation process.
Responsibilities
- Manage plaintiff personal injury litigation files from filing through trial and resolution.
- Draft and prepare pleadings, discovery, correspondence, subpoenas, motions, and other legal documents.
- Coordinate depositions, mediations, hearings, expert witnesses, and trial schedules.
- Obtain, organize, review, and summarize medical records, medical bills, wage loss documentation, and other case materials.
- Maintain case calendars and ensure all court deadlines are met.
- Communicate regularly with clients, medical providers, insurance companies, experts, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
- Prepare settlement demand packages and assist attorneys with case strategy and negotiations.
- Organize trial exhibits, witness files, trial notebooks, and other materials for trial preparation.
- Maintain organized electronic and physical case files while managing multiple active litigation matters.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of plaintiff personal injury litigation paralegal experience.
- Experience handling cases through all phases of litigation.
- Trial experience is a strong plus.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software.
- Self-starter with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to client service.
