Director of Catering Conference Services Luxury Mid Atlantic Resort

Premier Mid-Atlantic Resort best known for its spacious lodging complexes, expansive 100,000k event space, championship golf, entertainment venues, recreational activities, and multiple restaurant choices.

Key Responsibilities:

*Reports to the Director of Sales and collaborates with the Sales, F&B Team, Culinary, Banquet, Rooms, Revenue Teams, Engineering, Golf, Spa, Entertainment, Retail, etc.

*Oversee 7 Catering/ Conference /Convention Managers, Concierges Services, Billing, AAs to execute corporate, convention, and social events.

*Establishes strong client relationships.

*Able to motivate, train and inspire the team.

*Championing BEOs, Group Resumes, and required diagrams for functions.

*Assists DoS w/report analysis, annual business planning and budgeting.

*Represents the property at industry events, trade shows.

*Overseeing comprehensive execution of booked events from pre-event consultation, on-site event participation, detailing and executing the event, as well as post-event guest satisfaction follow up is critical to this role.

Qualifications:

7 years of catering, conference services, or group sales leadership in a high-volume, full-service hospitality environment.

Proven sales background with strong upselling and revenue optimization skills across F&B, ancillary services, and event enhancements.

​​Proven ability to manage large-scale event operations exceeding 600 events annually across 50,000 sq. ft. of event space.

Strong leadership experience overseeing multi-level teams.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Financial acumen, including forecasting, labor management, and P&L accountability

Compensation Package: $175-$200K ($130K salary uncapped quarterly commission). Comprehensive health benefits PTO Retirement Relo
