Position Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and hands-on Multi-Site Controller to oversee financial operations across multiple manufacturing facilities. This role will focus on financial accuracy, cost accounting, variance analysis, and providing actionable financial insights to support operational performance and profitability.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in manufacturing finance, strong cost accounting expertise, and the ability to partner with operational leadership to improve cost visibility, financial controls, and performance across multiple locations.

Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Leadership & Oversight

• Lead accounting and financial reporting activities across multiple manufacturing facilities.
• Oversee timely and accurate month-end close processes, including consolidation of site-level financial results.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal financial policies, and financial controls.
• Partner with plant leadership to strengthen financial discipline, accountability, and operational performance.
• Collaborate with plant controllers and site-level finance teams to ensure consistency and accuracy in reporting.
• Serve as a key liaison between corporate finance and site operations.
• Promote continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability across all locations.

Cost Accounting & Financial Analysis

• Oversee cost accounting practices and standard costing systems across multiple facilities.
• Conduct detailed variance analysis to identify cost drivers, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions.
• Identify opportunities to improve cost visibility, operational efficiency, and profitability.

QualificationsRequired

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5–12 years of progressive accounting or finance experience, with significant manufacturing experience.
• Strong expertise in cost accounting and standard costing systems.
• Experience supporting a multi-site manufacturing organization.
• Advanced Excel skills and financial modeling experience.
• Strong understanding of ERP systems such as IQMS, Sage Intacct, NetSuite, or similar platforms.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred

• CPA, CMA, or MBA.
• Experience in private equity-backed or high-growth organizations.
• Background in lean manufacturing or continuous improvement initiatives.
