Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bucksport, ME, for a professional working in the combined responsibilities of CRMA (Certified Residential Medication Aide), cooking, and transportation. Core responsibilities include administering medications in accordance with prescribed protocols, preparing and serving meals to residents, and providing safe transportation to appointments or community activities. Additionally, this role may involve assisting with daily resident care, maintaining a clean and organized environment, and ensuring consistent adherence to health and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Certified Residential Medication Aide (CRMA) or equivalent certification is required.
- Proficiency in cooking and meal preparation, including knowledge of nutrition and food safety standards.
- Strong understanding of safe driving practices and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals experiencing memory loss or other disabilities.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
- Previous experience in an assisted living or elder care setting is beneficial.
