Warehouse Puller

POSITION SUMMARY

The Warehouse Puller is responsible for pulling, moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting merchandise. The puller is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle and may also be required to perform Order Filler and Checker duties.

Hiring Shifts are 1st Shift Mon to Friday 8am to 5pm and 2nd shift Sun 10am to 7pm, Mon to Thru 3pm to 12am. Schedules could vary.

Job Description

• Ensure completeness and correctness of all orders filled 
• Efficiently pick customer orders for shipment, ensuring that the numbers, sizes, colors, and quantities of merchandise and correct type of product is loaded and shipped 
• Carry or transport orders to shipping locations or delivery platforms with forklift machine
• Report quality issues on all products
• Ensure shipments are accurate and free of damage 
• Tag any open and/or damaged boxes on racks for safety
• Use barcode scanning equipment to maintain computerized stock inventory 
• Unpack received products, count, weigh and/or sort items
• Mark and/or tag containers with identifying information
• Communicate problems with forklift, structures, or materials
• Pick orders by reading pick tickets, move products to the shipping area and operate RF scanners during order picking
• Inspect and complete the pre-shift inspection for the Cherry Picker 
• Operate forklift and reach truck equipment to maneuver products within the warehouse in a safe and efficient manner
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Other duties as requested by Shipping Manager
• Assemble orders on pallet for shipment 
• Carry or transport orders to staging locations
• Must know how to drive a cherry picker and a forklift 

Qualifications:

• Must be able to effectively communicate with Management and co-workers
• Great attention to detail
• Minimum one (1) year of recent experience operating a Cherry Picker/Forklift
• Experience using RF Scanner

Working conditions:

Moderate walking, standing, and/or climbing; heavy lifting and carrying, stooping, bending, kneeling, and reaching. Changes in temperature and humidity, and exposure to cold, heat, dust and loud noise. Push and pulling pallets and lifting products; Crouching is required up to 15% of the shift; Physical strength to handle up to 60 pound object, frequently. 

Above average coordination, including eye-hand, hand-foot and balance; above average endurance.
