Position Function/Purpose Makes general deliveries to all schools and departments. Assists other warehouse Personnel and warehouse supervisor in performing assigned tasks.

Major Responsibilities 1. Assist in the checking in (opening of cartons, counting contents and marking purchase order numbers/destination and sorting) of warehouse merchandise. 2. Responsible for daily loading of MISD trucks, deliveries and pickup of merchandise at all schools and departments 3. Assist in filing warehouse shipping orders 4. Performs other duties as assigned by the Warehouse, Procurement Supervisor and Director of Procurement and Supply Management Services

Qualification Requirements Minimum Certification/Education: 1. High School Diploma or GED Special Knowledge/Skills: 1. Must possess the ability to work effectively with people 2. Must be able to read and write English 3. Must possess or be able to obtain a Class B Commercial driver’s license 4. Must be able to lift objects in excess of 100 pounds, with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing 50 pounds or more 5. Valid Texas Driver License and acceptable driving record; must adhere to Midland ISD’s vehicle safety and use program 6. Basic computer skills Minimum Experience: 1. A reliable work history
