Primary duties are phone and counter sales of water, wastewater, stormwater, and erosion control products.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Generating sales within our established Contractors and Municipalities.
- Responding to requests from customers for product information.
- Remaining knowledgeable and up to date on changes and developments in our customers and competition.
- Answering phones and waiting on customers at the counter.
- Supporting Outside Salesmen by entering orders and accessing customer and product information when they are out on the road.
- Embrace a culture of safety, teamwork, personal excellence, candid conversation, service, and humility.
- Must have a can-do spirit and be willing to do the best that you can.
- Knowledge of water, wastewater, stormwater, and erosion control products is an asset, but we will also provide on-the-job training. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, self-reliant, and able to build strong customer relationships over the phone and over the counter.
- The position must accurately process receiving of inventory, periodic inventory counts, and sales, using an AS-400 based (green screen) computer system.
- Overnight travel may be required at times to attend training and Company seminars.
