Business Analyst – Life Insurance Domain/Annuities experience

Introduction:

The Business Analyst with Life Insurance Domain/Annuities experience will play a key role in our team, focusing on analyzing processes and systems within the life insurance industry. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of life insurance platforms, policy admin systems, and strong BA skills.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and document policy lifecycle processes for both Life and Annuities
• Understand and evaluate underwriting processes specific to Life & Annuities
• Assess and improve claims processing for Life and Disability policies
• Review and optimize billing and premium processing procedures
• Utilize LOMA and FLMI certification knowledge to enhance insurance operations
• Create and maintain BRDs and FRDs for system enhancements
• Conduct UAT to ensure system changes meet business requirements
• Develop and optimize process flows to streamline operations

Requirements:

Required Skills:

• Life Insurance / Annuities experience (MANDATORY)
• Minimum 5 years in Life & Annuities domain
• Strong understanding of:
  • Policy lifecycle (Life/Annuities)
  • Underwriting (L&A)
  • Claims (Life/Disability)
  • Billing / premium processing
• LOMA / FLMI certification

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with:
  • Life insurance platforms (NOT Guidewire-heavy)
  • Policy admin systems (L&A)
• Strong BA skills:
  • BRD / FRD
  • UAT
  • Process flows
