Landscape Foreman

Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced landscape foreman to lead the landscape division of a growing company. We are seeking someone who is a great leader, focused and determined to complete the task at hand, and not afraid to get their hands dirty. We are looking to bring in an experienced crew lead, that will mesh well with our current operations and propel them towards future success.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily landscaping operations, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to company standards.
• Oversee landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, property maintenance, and installs
• Lead a team of landscapers, providing training and guidance on best practices in landscaping and horticulture.
• Conduct regular inspections of work sites to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their landscaping needs and provide expert recommendations.
• Maintain equipment used in landscaping operations, ensuring it is in good working condition.
• Drive a truck and trailer to and from the work site every day
• Drive a plow truck in the winter for snow removal

Requirements

• Valid NYS drivers liscense
• Proven experience in landscape maintenance and landscaping techniques.
• Experience in lawn mowing with commercial grade equipment and snow plowing
• Strong supervisory experience with the ability to lead a team effectively.
• Experience in land mowing using commercial grade equipment
• Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with cliental
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate team members and foster a positive work environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
