Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Computer-Aided Design (CAD) Designer in the Mr. GoodTower group based in Taneytown, MD. The CAD Designer will create technical drawings and construction designs, develop and revise design concepts, and collaborate with the team to design replacement parts and sections. Additional responsibilities include ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards and providing technical support across cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) specifically Solid Edge or similar as well as 3D Modeling and Technical Drawing
- Experience in creating Construction Drawings and verifying design accuracy
- Background in Design Engineering and familiarity with engineering principles
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to interpret and create technical schematics
- Ability to work collaboratively on-site with cross-functional teams
- Associates degree in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) technology preferred.
- Prior experience in the manufacturing or industrial sector is a plus
