Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Mount Airy, MD for a Computer-Aided Design (CAD) Designer. The CAD Designer will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings, developing construction design plans, and preparing engineering documents to support civil engineering and land planning projects. The role involves collaboration with engineers, surveyors, and other team members to ensure project accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Technical Drawing and Drawing for engineering and design purposes
- Expertise in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and software including AutoCAD and Carlson Civil Suite
- Converting survey field work into finished plans.
- Experience with boundary surveys, topographic surveys, as built surveys.
- Experience with creating accurate Construction Drawings and engineering layouts
- Knowledge of Design Engineering principles for civil and land planning projects
- Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret project requirements
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
