Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Installation Technician to join our team. This role involves installing HVAC systems on new construction projects, ensuring proper setup and functionality. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, capable of working independently or as part of a team, and committed to maintaining high safety standards.
Duties
- Install heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in new construction sites according to project specifications and safety standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and installation instructions to ensure accurate setup.
- Measure, cut, assemble, and secure ductwork and related components as required for each project.
- Mount equipment such as air handlers, furnaces, vents, and thermostats in designated locations.
- Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure timely completion of installations.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols at all times.
- Inspect installed systems for proper operation and compliance with building codes before project completion.
Requirements
- Prior experience in HVAC installation or related construction trades preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints relevant to HVAC systems.
- Strong physical stamina and manual dexterity to handle heavy equipment and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure precise installation work.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Commitment to safety procedures and practices on job sites.
- Valid driver’s license may be required depending on job site locations.
