What are the responsibilities and job description for the HVAC / Plumbing Tech | Full Time position at EVA Home Services?
About Us:
Let’s be honest. You didn't spend years mastering manifold gauges and pipe sweat just to become a high-pressure doorstep salesman.
We are a local, fast-paced emergency service and mechanical company, and we’re tired of the corporate HVAC model that forces techs to gouge grandma for a capacitor just to make a bonus. We care about good craftsmanship, solving problems, and taking care of customers.
Oh, and we actually take care of our team, too.
Why You’ll Love It Here (The Perks):
- The 40-Hour Guarantee: You know how other shops send you home sitting on your hands the second the weather hits 70 degrees? Not here. When mechanical calls are slow, we pivot to our active remodeling projects. You keep your tools moving, and more importantly, your paycheck stays completely full.
- Real Money: We offer solid commissions and kickbacks for honest work. Our last top performer cleared $85,000 in just 13 months. (We did ultimately have to fire him because his drug habit became his full-time job, but hey—the earning potential is 100% real if you can pass a screen!).
- No Corporate Bureaucracy: No micromanagement, no ridiculous sales scripts, no soul-crushing quotas. Just do great work and treat people right.
What We’re Looking For:
- The Dual Threat: You are highly experienced in HVAC troubleshooting/install, and you aren’t afraid to handle plumbing lines.
- The Dynamic Adaptor: If the schedule opens up and we need to jump on a remodeling site or knock out a handyman task to secure your 40 hours, you’re the type who says, "Grab the tool bag, let's go," instead of sitting in the truck complaining.
- Clean & Professional: You take pride in your work, clean up after yourself, and can communicate like a normal human being with homeowners.
- Reliable: You show up on time, sober, and ready to roll. (See bullet point #2 under perks).
Requirements:
- Proven experience in HVAC and plumbing.
- Valid driver's license (and a relatively clean driving record).
- Your own basic hand & power tools.
- A strong work ethic and a sense of humor.
If you’re a skilled tech who wants a steady paycheck, zero corporate pressure, and an owner who actually has your back, hit apply. Let’s grab a coffee and talk.
