What are the responsibilities and job description for the PT Automotive Mechanic position at EVA Home Services?
We’re a well-established construction business going strong for 9 years. Until now, we’ve been wrenching on our own trucks, vans, and equipment between jobs — but let’s be honest, we’re better at fixing pipes and HVAC systems than diagnosing a check engine light at 10 PM.
So, we’re looking for a skilled mechanic to join our team. Someone who can help us keep our fleet running smoothly, our tools out of the junkyard, and our weekends free of oil changes.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience with light/medium duty trucks, vans, and construction equipment
Own tools (we’ve got plenty of busted knuckles to share, but not extra wrenches)
Reliable, responsible, and drug-free (if you can’t find your tools after using them… that’s a problem)
Ability to work part-time or full-time — we’re flexible
What We Offer:
Steady work with a company that’s been serving the community for nearly a decade
Fair pay based on experience
A solid crew to work with (we laugh a lot, but we also get the job done)
Less drama than most auto shops (unless you count the occasional debate about who makes the best pizza in town)
If you’re tired of working for shops that don’t appreciate you, or if you’re just looking for a change where your skills matter, this could be the perfect fit.
