The Research Analyst supports senior research staff on government and nonprofit research projects using qualitative and quantitative methods. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience and growth opportunities using tools such as STATA, SPSS, R, and NVivo.
Key Responsibilities
Support research plans and ensure high-quality outcomes
Data entry, coding, cleaning, and data management
Conduct primary data collection and secondary data analysis
Literature and document reviews; synthesize findings
Run descriptive and inferential statistics
Build and maintain datasets
Prepare tables, figures, and visualizations
Assist with journal articles and conference presentations
Document research procedures and follow protocols
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in social science or related field
Experience with SPSS, STATA, R, or similar tools
NVivo Experience Preferred
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
Strong analytical, communication, and time-management skills
English/Spanish bilingual preferred
Ability to obtain and maintain government clearance
