What are the responsibilities and job description for the Analyst, Global Macro (Washington, DC) position at Eurasia Group?
In this position, you will be analyzing cutting-edge trends at the intersection of international politics and markets. In addition to having a strong background in foreign affairs, strong knowledge of the political economy of climate change and international trade would be an advantage- but not a requirement. You will have read widely on these topics for years. You will also have at least five years’ experience analyzing global trends.
In this position, you will report to Eurasia Group’s chairman. You will also assist in developing Eurasia Group’s research agenda, and reviewing research as it is produced. You will independently write macro analyses, and will speak publicly on macro themes.
Knowledge of markets and economics is a plus, as is command of foreign languages. Time spent living outside the US is also desirable.
