The Associate Director will serve as a cross-functional “hub” across commercial leadership, subject-matter experts, and internal partners—bringing strong project management, excellent client-service instincts, and expert-level PowerPoint capabilities to help advance business development and deliver polished outputs.

Responsibilities

Develop client-facing materials

  • Create first-draft PowerPoint decks for client meetings, proposals, and commercial pursuits.
  • Translate rough inputs (bullets, emails, analyst notes) into clean, structured slides with strong executive-level storytelling.
  • Ensure decks align with team standards and are ready for senior review.
  • Occasional advisory content creation (slide-based)
  • Support the team with occasional advisory content development primarily in PowerPoint format (e.g., brief slide-based perspectives, meeting “leave-behinds,” and issue framing).
  • Operate as a cross-functional coordinator
  • Work closely with colleagues across the firm to synthesize inputs efficiently and ensure stakeholders are aligned.
  • Maintain a high bar for responsiveness, organization, and professionalism in a fast-paced, client-oriented environment.

Proposal Process Support

  • Coordinating proposal inputs across internal stakeholders (commercial leads, analysts, and other relevant teams).
  • Drafting and editing proposal content and structuring narratives for clarity and impact.
  • Building and maintaining proposal timelines; scheduling internal check-ins and reviews to hit deadlines.
  • Supporting pricing/level-of-effort tables and other standard proposal components, in coordination with relevant internal partners.
  • Managing version control and quality control to ensure consistency, accuracy, and professional formatting.
  • Helping prepare submission-ready deliverables (primarily PowerPoint and supporting documents).

Track client meeting follow-ups and action items

  • Capturing and maintaining an action-item tracker from client meetings and internal discussions.
  • Coordinating with relevant owners to ensure follow-ups are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Proactively flagging risks to timelines and helping unblock next steps.

Qualifications

  • Expert-level PowerPoint skills, including the ability to build clear, compelling decks quickly (structure, narrative flow, layout, and polish).
  • Strong writing, editing, and synthesis skills; ability to turn complex inputs into crisp, client-ready language and slides.
  • Demonstrated project management capability (tracking deadlines, managing stakeholders, version control, and follow-through).
  • Comfort working across teams and senior stakeholders in a cross-functional environment.
  • Strong client-service orientation, sound judgment, and ability to handle sensitive information discreetly.
  • High attention to detail and quality control; consistent execution under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency with common productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office suite) and comfort working with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce or equivalent) and/or action-item tracking tools.
  • Interest in global affairs/political risk and how politics impacts business and corporate decision-making.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree a plus.
