Key Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and specimen collection
- Label, process, and track laboratory samples
- Maintain chain of custody and documentation accuracy
- Follow infection control and safety procedures
- Coordinate with healthcare staff for lab services
Requirements
- Phlebotomy certification (nationally recognized)
- Minimum 1 year of phlebotomy experience
- Experience with high-volume or clinical lab environments preferred
- Ability to pass federal security screening
- Strong attention to detail and patient interaction skills
Work Location & Schedule
- Location: On-site at Federal Correctional Institution, Marianna, FL
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, between 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM
