Certified Phlebotomist 

Position Overview

Cetechs is seeking a Certified Phlebotomist to perform laboratory specimen collection services in a correctional healthcare environment. The role requires precision, efficiency, and adherence to strict medical and security protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and specimen collection
• Label, process, and track laboratory samples
• Maintain chain of custody and documentation accuracy
• Follow infection control and safety procedures
• Coordinate with healthcare staff for lab services

Requirements

• Phlebotomy certification (nationally recognized)
• Minimum 1 year of phlebotomy experience
• Experience with high-volume or clinical lab environments preferred
• Ability to pass federal security screening
• Strong attention to detail and patient interaction skills

Work Location & Schedule

• Location: On-site at Federal Correctional Institution, Marianna, FL
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, between 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
