Exciting opportunity to join a fun, fast-paced surgical eye clinic in Eugene, Oregon! We are seeking an energetic and motivated Surgery Scheduler to join our growing team.
The Surgery Scheduler plays a key role in ensuring a smooth, efficient, and reassuring experience for our patients. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm and professional while managing multiple priorities in a busy clinical environment.
Minimum Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong customer service skills with a patient-centered approach
- Experience with paper charts and EHR systems (strongly preferred)
- Knowledge of medical instrumentation and proper care within ophthalmology
- Familiarity with general ophthalmic surgical terminology and pathology
- COA (Certified Ophthalmic Assistant) strongly preferred
- Priority given to candidates with ophthalmic technician, scribing, or surgical scheduling experience

Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Schedule patients for ophthalmic surgeries
- Assist physicians as needed
- Provide pre- and post-operative instructions and patient education
- Answer patient questions related to surgery and recovery
- Complete all tasks with a high level of accuracy and efficiency
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $21.00 - $27.00 per hour
