Job Location: In-Person, $18-$20/Hour (Dependent on Experience), Day Shift, Full-Time
Our client is a research group in Southbridge, MA and they want you to join their team as an Animal Research Technician!
Your day-to-day as an Animal Research Technician:
- Perform daily cleaning of animal enclosures and surrounding areas
- Feed assigned animals and conduct health observations
- Assist in technical procedures under the direction of veterinary staff
- Maintain accurate and organized records of animal care
- Collaborate with team members to address any animal or facility concerns
Your skills and experience:
- High School diploma, GED, or Bachelor’s degree in Animal Health or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience in animal husbandry, preferably with livestock
- Veterinary Technician licensure (CVT or LVT) and AALAS certification are preferred
- Basic proficiency in computer applications, including word processing and spreadsheets
- Strong organizational skills and effective written and verbal communication abilities
