- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a specialty setting
- Demonstrated excellence in nursing care and critical thinking skills
- Strong desire to learn and grow in the role.
- Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment.
- To provide support to the oncologist with incoming consultations
- Managing the flow of appointment schedule
- Assist DVM with patient assessment
- Triage and acquire vitals
- Providing nursing skills and support with any treatment and diagnostic requests
- Obtaining and processing laboratory samples such as blood, urine, fluids, and fine needle aspirates
- Administration of sedatives as needed and conducting required patient monitoring
- Administering medications via oral, subcutaneous, intravenous, and intramuscular routes
- Administering injectable chemotherapeutics as directed, following strict safety guidelines
- Record and communicate patient information accurately into patient medical records
- Safely and effectively restrain patients
- Capable of monitoring patients under anesthesia (ventilator experience is a plus!)
- Maintain sanitary conditions of the hospital, clean and efficient working area
- Proficient in calculating doses and administering drugs and fluids
- Ninja-like reflexes to handle surprise tail wags and unexpected bodily fluid encounters
- Experience in catheter placement
- Strong time management, initiative, and task prioritization skills
- 10-Hour shift
- Tuesday- Friday

- $19.00 - $29.00 per hour (commensurate with experience)
