As we scale production and global deployments, we are seeking a Demand Planning Manager to own demand planning, and supply alignment across new product introductions and volume production.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn demand-supply forecasting and finished goods inventory.Generate and execute weekly and quarterly demand - supply plans that meet Etched’s S&OP objective. Evaluate risks. Plan and implement contingency plans to mitigate risk.Build and execute weekly, monthly, and quarterly demand and supply plansMonitor planned vs. actual builds, inventory levels, and consumption rates; adjust plans as neededPartner with Manufacturing OPM and Global Supply Management to translate forecasts into executable build plansLead scenario planning, risk identification, and mitigation under capacity or component constraintsPresent demand, supply risks, and recommended actions to leadershipDrive continuous improvement of demand planning processes, tools, and modelsYou may be a good fit if you have (Must-have qualifications)Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field5 years of experience in demand planning, supply planning, or supply chain operationsStrong analytical skills; highly proficient in ExcelExperience supporting production environments and NPI rampsExcellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionallyComfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous, startup environmentsStrong candidates may also have experience with (Nice-to-have qualifications)Experience with APS, MRP/ERP systems, or scenario planning toolsBackground in hardware, semiconductor, or advanced manufacturingExperience with data visualization, SQL, or PythonBenefitsFull medical, dental, and vision packages, with generous premium coverageHousing subsidy of $2,000/month for those living within walking distance of the officeDaily lunch and dinner in our officeRelocation support for those moving to San Jose (Santana Row)How we’re differentEtched believes in the Bitter Lesson. We do not have boundaries between engineering and research, and we expect all of our technical staff to contribute to both as needed.
