We are an in-person team in San Jose, CA, and are on-site 5 days a week.
The Role
As we scale our company, we will face a handful of strategic and finance operational challenges. From deciding pricing, SKUs, and unit economics to accounting, financing strategies, and cash flow and supply chain management, we are looking for a Finance intern to tackle strategic financial challenges and execute on our day-to-day finance operations.
You will work closely with the executive team to maintain our finance plan, assist with purchase orders and accounts payable, and learn about key strategic issues across the organization, from supply chain to product. You’ll get hands-on experience across FP&A, accounting operations, vendor payments, and pricing/unit economics modeling.

We think most of the progress in the AI field has come from using more FLOPs to train and run models, and the best way to get more FLOPs is to build model-specific hardware. Larger and larger training runs encourage companies to consolidate around fewer model architectures, which creates a market for single-model ASICs.
We are a fully in-person team in West San Jose, and greatly value engineering skills. We do not have boundaries between engineering and research, and we expect all of our technical staff to contribute to both as needed.

You May Be a Good Fit If You
- Have previous internship experience in consulting, banking, or early startup environments
- Understand cash flow management, bank reconciliation, and bookkeeping
- Track record of excellent project management and data analysis skills
- Are willing to do a broad set of finance, accounting, and operations work
- Comfort with Excel/Sheets or basic financial modeling
Strong Candidates May Also Have Experience With
- Technical Curiosity: experience, education, or interest in computer science, electrical engineering, artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
- Industry interest: Deep curiosity about the AI ecosystem, including emerging trends, cutting-edge technologies, and industry innovations.
