Essential Shipyard Industries specializes in advanced marine electrical work that most shops won't touch:
LiFePO4 battery conversions (lithium systems replacing lead-acid banks)
Supercapacitor engine start systems (we've successfully installed dozens)
Integrated electronics packages (Garmin, Raymarine, Furuno - full system design)
Complex troubleshooting (intermittent failures, system conflicts, custom integrations)

COMPENSATION:
$40-52/hour based on experience and certifications

THE WORK:
Primary location: La Conner shipyard (occasional Anacortes work)
~10% mobile work to other local marinas/yards
High-end yachts and complex systems
Fast comes from doing things properly - we expect reasonable output, but we don't cut corners to hit deadlines
WHAT WE NEED:
ABYC/NMEA certified OR experienced electrician willing to certify (we'll pay for training)
Troubleshooting mindset (diagnose root causes, don't just throw parts at problems)
Own professional tool set
Clean, compliant work (we do it right the first time)
Team player (Friday problem-solving sessions, crew collaboration, we build solutions together)
