Experienced Marine Electrician

All American Marine
Bellingham, WA Full Time
POSTED ON 6/22/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 5/18/2031

Our Company

For over 30 years, All American Marine (AAM) has set the standard in custom aluminum vessel manufacturing, delivering innovative marine solutions tailored to meet the most demanding needs. Located in the maritime hub of Bellingham, WA, AAM specializes in designing and building advanced, fuel-efficient boats for commercial, research, and passenger transportation.

Role Scope

As an Experienced Marine Electrician, you will support the efficient construction of custom aluminum vessels by delivering reliable, code-aligned electrical systems from rough-in through commissioning. This senior-level role exists to protect quality, safety, and schedule on complex builds.

Key responsibilities include marine electrical installation, routing and securing wireways/penetrations/foundations, terminating and independently testing circuits, and integrating advanced electronics (radar, sounders, AIS, A/V). You will read plans, document work, and coordinate with production to resolve fit-and-finish issues.

Required qualifications/skills:
- 5 years as an electrician or apprentice; marine experience required
- Ability to terminate and test independently
- Proficiency with advanced marine electronics installation
- Advanced fabrication skills; able to build/install wireways and penetrations without supervision
- Mechanical experience (marine/automotive/diesel or similar)
- Able to work at heights and in tight spaces; safety-focused
- Strong communication, work ethic, and humble, team-oriented approach
- ABYC certification preferred

If you take pride in clean terminations and dependable systems, apply with a resume and references.

On the Shop Floor

You’ll start onsite in Bellingham by reviewing the build board, drawings, and any open QC items, then stage materials and verify parts against the latest revision. Throughout the day you’ll move between hulls, engine rooms, and console spaces—checking clearances, confirming labeling, and keeping workmanship consistent across systems. You’ll coordinate handoffs with other trades, respond to change notes, and keep test results and punch-list updates organized so downstream teams can proceed without rework. Near day’s end, you’ll confirm the next shift’s priorities, tidy your work area, and ensure the space is left safe and ready for continued production.

Compensation & Coverage

Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage; 401(k); Life Insurance; Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) options; Paid Time Off; an equipment stipend; and employee discounts.
