Marine Electrician

All American Marine
Bellingham, WA Full Time
POSTED ON 8/5/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 5/18/2031

Our Company

For over 30 years, All American Marine (AAM) has set the standard in custom aluminum vessel manufacturing, delivering innovative marine solutions tailored to meet the most demanding needs. Located in the maritime hub of Bellingham, WA, AAM specializes in designing and building advanced, fuel-efficient boats for commercial, research, and passenger transportation.

Role Scope

As a Marine Electrician, you’ll help deliver dependable, standards-compliant electrical systems on custom aluminum vessels—supporting quality, safety, and build schedule from rough-in through commissioning.

Key responsibilities include marine electrical installation; routing, securing, and finishing wireways/penetrations/foundations; clean terminations; independent circuit testing; and integration of advanced electronics (radar, sounders, AIS, A/V). You will follow drawings, red-line changes, document test results, and coordinate with other trades and management to resolve fit/finish or revision impacts.

Required qualifications/skills:
- Ability to terminate and test independently; solid tool and test-equipment proficiency
- Proficient installing advanced marine electronics and setting up alarms/electronics
- Fabrication capability to build/install wireways and foundations; pass weld test (tack as needed)
- Working knowledge of USCG, ABYC, and AAM electrical standards (ABYC cert/advanced standards preferred)
- Computer skills (MS Suite; basic AutoCAD)
- Able to lead assigned tasks/projects and assist training Level 1 electricians

If you take pride in organized workmanship and reliable systems, apply with your resume.

On the Shop Floor

You’ll begin onsite in Bellingham by checking the build board, current drawings, and any open QC notes, then staging materials and confirming parts match the latest revision. As the day moves on, you’ll rotate between hulls, engine rooms, and console spaces—verifying clearances, confirming labels, and keeping workmanship consistent across systems. You’ll coordinate handoffs with other trades, respond to change notes, and keep punch-list items and test records tidy so follow-on teams can move forward without rework. Before wrap-up, you’ll align on next-shift priorities, clean the area, and leave the space safe and ready for continued production.

Compensation & Coverage

Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage; 401(k); Life Insurance; Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) options; Paid Time Off; an equipment stipend; and employee discounts.
