Janitorial Site Supervisor – Peoria, IL
Schedule: Mon–Fri, 1:00 PM–9:30 PM
Starting Pay: $20/hr
ESS Clean, Inc. is looking for a dependable Site Supervisor to lead evening cleaning operations and ensure a safe, spotless facility.
Responsibilities
- Perform inspections and hands-on cleaning (buffing floors, carpet cleaning, autoscrubber use)
- Supervise, train, and support a cleaning team
- Dust, wipe down, and disinfect office surfaces
- Clean and sanitize restrooms (janitorial duties)
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
- Empty trash and recycling containers
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized commercial workspace
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
- Maintain supply closets and equipment
- Communicate with the Area Manager, customer contacts, and team members
- Promote a safe, organized, high-standard worksite
Requirements
- Professional, detail-oriented, and reliable
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Experience in commercial cleaning; able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working independently during evening hours
Preferred
- High school diploma/GED
- Custodial supervision or commercial cleaning experience
- Knowledge of safety protocols and MSDS
