Condominium Associates began managing condominium and homeowner associations in the Tampa Bay area in 1982 and presently have offices in Pasco, Pinellas, Sarasota and Hillsborough counties. We are a full-service association management company providing services in the areas of facilities management, financial management and administration.
Join our dynamic team as a Janitor and be a crucial part of maintaining a pristine and safe environment at one of our many stunning properties. We're looking for dedicated individuals who take pride in their work and contribute to creating an exceptional living experience for our residents. As a Janitor, you'll work under the direct supervision of the Property Manager, ensuring a clean and safe working environment for all residents. Your dedication to cleanliness will play a vital role in shaping the positive atmosphere of our community.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
- Empty trash and recycling bins
- Groundskeeping experience
- Dust and wipe down surfaces
- Occasionally utilize ladders to clean and dust walls, ceilings, and light fixtures.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe environment by following operational and safety procedures.
- From cleaning bathrooms to washing walkways, your role is diverse and dynamic.
- Notify management of any maintenance or repair needs
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
Requirements:
- Fluent in English and good communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities
- Fluent in English and good communication skills
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
- Ability to work from Tuesday to Saturday from 7:45am to 4:15pm (30 minutes lunch)
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods standing.
- Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
- Ability to climb stairs frequently
