What are the responsibilities and job description for the PTG Youth Soccer Coach position at Patiño Training Grounds?
Patiño Training Grounds (PTG) is one of the fastest-growing youth soccer programs in the Tampa Bay area. We are looking for positive, energetic coaches who love working with kids and want to be part of a 5-star training environment focused on building confidence, skill, and character.
As a PTG Youth Soccer Coach, you will lead personal training, group training, and coach one of our PTG teams during our 6-week recreational seasons.
Responsibilities
Training & Coaching
- Teach ball mastery, dribbling, passing, receiving, shooting, and decision-making
- Run 6 teams sessions following PTG’s coaching model
- Coach one team during our 6-week PTG season (1 practice/week Friday evenings Saturday morning games)
Player Development
- Create a positive training environment
- Encourage confidence, effort, and development for all players
- Communicate with parents professionally and clearly
Professionalism
- Arrive on time and prepared
- Maintain high energy and leadership
- Represent PTG’s values (Energy, Effort, Commitment)
Qualifications
Required:
- Experience playing or coaching soccer (club, high school, or college)
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to lead and motivate young athletes
- Reliable, responsible, and energetic
Preferred:
- Desire to help youth develop
- Youth coaching experience
- USSF Grassroots or D-License
- Experience with player development or training sessions
Schedule
- Weekday/Friday evenings for practices & training
- Saturday mornings for games
- Additional hours available through personal training
We work around school/work schedules.
Compensation
- $20–$30 per hour (training sessions)
- Growth opportunities available (lead trainer, age group lead, program director)
Work Location
On-site — PTG fields in Lutz / Land O’ Lakes (Pasco County)
