You will oversee two critical functions: the Commercial Strategy unit, which identifies revenue opportunities and business models, and the Commercial Creative team, which transforms those strategies into world-class visual narratives. Your mission is to ensure that every commercial initiative is both strategically sound and creatively exceptional, driving long-term value for EFG and its partners.

You will oversee two critical functions: the Commercial Strategy unit, which identifies revenue opportunities and business models, and the Commercial Creative team, which transforms those strategies into world-class visual narratives. Your mission is to ensure that every commercial initiative is both strategically sound and creatively exceptional, driving long-term value for EFG and its partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Commercial Strategy & Revenue Growth
- Strategic Planning: Lead the development of forward-looking commercial plans that drive growth, competitiveness, and long-term value across the esports ecosystem.
- Revenue Innovation: Identify and evaluate new revenue opportunities, market trends, and strategic pathways to strengthen EFG's global position.
- Business Model Optimization: Oversee the development and optimization of commercial strategies and business models that support the global ecosystem.
- Strategic Leadership: Contribute to EFG's commercial roadmap and GTM strategy, identifying market trends and competitor movements to maintain our position as a market leader
- Creative Operations & Team Leadership
- Operational Architecture: Define and optimize the workflows, processes, and resource allocation between the Strategy and Creative teams to ensure seamless delivery of commercial assets.
- Creative Guidance: Provide high-level mentorship and guidance to the Creative B2B team, ensuring their output aligns with broader business objectives and standards.
- Workforce Structuring: Supervise and direct the internal Creative B2B team, ensuring the right mix of talent (designers, copywriters, strategists) is in place to meet global demand.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Partner with leadership to drive the vision of our Commercial Strategy across divisions.
- Business Development
- Strategic Commercial Partnerships: Identify, evaluate & drive strategic partnerships that strengthen the Commercial offering and position of EFG across all revenue streams.
- Experience: 10 years of experience in commercial strategy, or business development within gaming, sports, entertainment, or digital industries.
- Leadership: Proven track record of managing multidisciplinary teams (strategists, designers, copywriters).
- Strategic Mindset: Exceptional ability to translate complex consumer and business insights into actionable commercial strategies and compelling storytelling narratives.
- Industry Passion: A deep passion for esports and gaming, paired with a sophisticated understanding of its commercial potential and cultural nuances.
- Communication: Elite presentation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate complex internal environments and engage with C-suite executives.
- Global Mindset: Experience working across global teams and time zones; fluency in English is required (additional languages like German, Spanish, or Arabic are a plus).
