A world-class organization is looking for a highly motivated and organized Sales Support Assistant to join its team in Cranford. The ideal candidate will have strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The Sales Support Assistant will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to product assortment, marketing, and vendor management. This is an onsite role with traditional work hours.
Responsibilities
- Review and update core brand product assortments on the company portal
- Complete and upload detailed Excel product sheets on core SKUs
- Learn and become proficient in the company's proprietary reporting and fulfillment system
- Add and maintain vendor and brand information in the company CRS
- Continuously manage brand product assortment, including marketing copy, pricing, inventory, product images, and program placement
- Communicate with brand/vendor contacts for updates on product assortments
- Create and maintain marketing copy for products
- Maintain and enter pricing changes per brands
- Communicate with vendors regarding overages, discrepancies, and damages; manage the return-to-vendor process
- Anticipate the needs of the Merchandising/Sales Support Team and provide persistent follow-up
- Collaborate and work closely with the Marketing Team to provide information and samples as needed
- Communicate thoroughly and professionally with both internal teams and external vendors/customers
Qualifications
- Experience in business administration, marketing, or a related field
- Strong Excel skills, including formulas, tables, and pivot tables
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
