We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Controller to lead and manage all aspects of accounting operations. This role will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate financial closes, securing clean audit outcomes, facilitating efficient accounts payable (AP) processing, and managing effective accounts receivable (AR). The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader who excels in a fast-paced environment and is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of financial integrity.


Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations, including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
• Coordinate and lead the annual audit process, liaise with external auditors, and ensure clean audit results.
• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop the accounting team to ensure high performance and accountability.
• Implement efficient processes to ensure AP is processed accurately and on schedule.
• Monitor AR to ensure collections are timely and outstanding balances do not age unnecessarily.
• Collaborate with other departments to support overall company goals and objectives.
• Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  
  
  
  

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Deep understanding of revenue recognition principles, revenue waterfalls, and recurring billing cycles.
• Familiarity with online payment processing and OEM partnership structures.
• A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required. A CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) certification is strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience, including management responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Experience with audits and ensuring clean audit outcomes.
• Proven ability to lead, train, and manage a team effectively.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
