Commercial Sales Manager (Logistics)

This is an opportunity to join a major U.S. chemical storage and terminal operator with capabilities unmatched by its competition as a self-starting Sales Manager expanding customer relationships, driving new business and working closely with operations and leadership to deliver high-quality, safe and reliable service.
The ideal candidate will be a experienced in commercial business sales in logistics who adopts a considered and relationship- driven sales approach as they build and develop new business opportunities with chemical companies to facilitate the holding of their products.

THE ROLE:
* Develop and execute sales strategies to grow storage, distribution, and terminal services across chemical producers, distributors, and logistics partners.
* Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities by leveraging industry knowledge and delivering tailored commercial solutions.
* Build strong, trust-based relationships with clients, ensuring alignment between customer needs and operational capabilities.
* Collaborate with operations, finance, HSSE, and leadership to support proposals, negotiate contracts, and ensure seamless service delivery.
THE PERSON:
* Experienced sales professional with a background in selling logistics services ideally in chemical distribution, storage, logistics or terminal operations.
* Strong commercial acumen with proven success in developing new business, managing accounts, and achieving revenue targets.
* Excellent communicator with the ability to build rapport at all levels from operators to executives and familiar with modern office tools such Microsoft Suite, SAP, CRM and Power BI.
* Proactive, organised, and capable of managing multiple sales cycles while ensuring accuracy in forecasting, proposals, and customer communication.
