Key Responsibilities
- Account Management & Growth (50% Farmer): Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, building strong relationships with multiple stakeholders and identifying cross-sell, repeat business, and expansion opportunities.
- New Business Development (50% Hunter): Proactively prospect for new business via outbound outreach, networking, and market research to build a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities.
- End-to-End Project Execution: Lead client projects from initial request through quoting, product selection, artwork approvals, production, fulfillment, delivery, and post-project follow-up.
- Consultative Solution Selling: Conduct discovery conversations to understand client/prospect needs and collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored proposals for branded merchandise and online store initiatives.
- Pipeline & CRM Management: Accurately track account activity, prospecting efforts, project details, and pipeline movement within the CRM system.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate seamlessly with internal teams and external vendor partners to ensure projects are completed accurately, on time, and within client expectations.
- Bachelor's degree OR an equivalent combination of education and relevant client-facing experience.
- Proven experience in account management, business development, client services, sales, or project management.
- Direct experience in promotional products, branded merchandise, print, fulfillment, direct mail, marketing services, or a closely related industry.
- Strong track record of managing multiple client relationships, complex projects, and revenue opportunities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with CRM tools and standard business software.
- Excellent verbal/written communication, strong project execution skills, and exceptional attention to detail.
- Balanced experience with both existing account growth and cold, outbound new business prospecting.
- Familiarity with setting up or managing corporate online stores, fulfillment programs, or recurring branded merchandise initiatives.
- Experience partnering with higher education institutions, private schools, nonprofits, or mid-market B2B clients.
- Experience working specifically within a consultative or solutions-based sales and service model.
