About The Position
As a Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for utilizing a comprehensive skillset to perform installation, preventive maintenance, and repairs on all ERMCO manufacturing equipment. The role requires commitment to upholding ERMCO's core values and aligning with the organization's strategic goals to ensure operational excellence and equipment reliability.

Responsibilities
What you will do
As a Maintenance Technician at ERMCO, you will perform routine preventative maintenance on both production and facility equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting and repairing mechanical systems such as motors, bearings, belts, chains, gearboxes, and pneumatics. You will conduct electrical diagnostics and basic installations on circuits up to 480V, working with motors, sensors, and control panels. Additionally, you will assist in PLC troubleshooting, including fault diagnosis, I/O verification, and program resets—while programming knowledge is beneficial, it is not required. You'll also be expected to diagnose and resolve issues involving VFDs, relays, and safety circuits. Prompt response to equipment breakdowns is essential to minimize downtime. All maintenance activities must be documented in logs or a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment is a key part of the role, along with availability for scheduled weekend or call-in shifts with at least 24 hours' notice when production demands arise.
