Equity Staffing is seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist in Knoxville, TN to provide hands-on hardware and software support to end users across a variety of devices. This role supports both on-site and remote users and plays a key part in maintaining smooth day-to-day IT operations.
What You’ll Do
- Provide daily support for PCs, laptops, tablets, printers, and mobile devices
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and Microsoft Windows issues
- Respond to and resolve ServiceNow tickets in a timely manner
- Image, stage, and deploy new equipment
- Manage and track IT assets (PCs, printers, registers, etc.)
- Support and guide junior technicians and help desk staff
- Assist with IT projects and serve as a technical subject matter expert
- Create documentation and processes for support teams
What We’re Looking For
- 6–8 years of experience supporting end-user technology
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience with MECM (SCCM), PXE, and OS deployments
- Knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure/Entra, and Group Policy
- Familiarity with ServiceNow and remote tools like BeyondTrust (Bomgar)
- Experience with scripting, imaging, and endpoint management (BigFix preferred)
- Excellent customer service, communication, and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and support multiple priorities
Nice to Have
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field
- CompTIA A , Network , or Security certifications

- Office and/or warehouse setting
- May require occasional lifting (10–40 lbs) and physical movement
