Operates through-hole or surface mount technology (SMT) automatic assembly equipment to produce high quality complex printed circuit board assemblies. Responsible for set-up, operation and routine maintenance. Manually or using semi-automatic equipment screen print solder paste. Operate adhesive dispensing equipment. Loads components supplied in tubes or reels onto feeders, and loads feeders onto placement equipment. May hand place some SMT components. Place assembled printed circuit boards into solder reflow ovens. May use standard electronic hand tools (solder, flux and adhesive). Utilize schematic diagrams, drawings, visual aides and other instructions to identify defects.
-Under limited supervision, responsible for moderately complex Surface Mount manufacturing processes utilizing automated equipment and hand assembly. Performs semi-routine SMT, Inspection and AOI equipment set-up, operation, and adjustment and utilizes other Surface Mount Technology equipment such as X-RAY, Stencil Printing, etc.
-HM has stated that candidates with machine operator experience do well in this position.
-Candidates must be able to work independently
-Candidates may work on different lines day by day, however the work will be very similar.
-The role is for 2nd shift - Mon-Thurs 3:30 PM EST-2:00 AM EST with OT available on the weekend
-Candidates will not be able to transfer to 1st shift
-Candidates must be able to read and write English
-Candidates must take and pass a medical exam as outlined in the supplier guide
