We are seeking a motivated Shop Floor Helper for a contract-to-hire position supporting daily warehouse and production operations. Job Responsibilities

Package sheet metal products for shipment according to order specifications and quality standards

Build and prepare wooden skids and pallets for shipping

Assist with material handling, including loading and unloading of trucks

Maintain accurate inventory of raw materials and finished goods

Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently

Follow all safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work area

Support general warehouse and production operations as directed

Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to meet daily production goals
Job Requirements

Prior warehouse, manufacturing, or construction experience preferred

Familiarity with hand and power tools

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards

Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn new skills
Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Work Experience

1 year of experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or related environment preferred
Additional Job Details

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM

Contract-to-hire position; entry into the Carpentry Union 30 days after conversion

Starting pay: $16/hour; increases to $17/hour upon union membership
