Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various machinery, ensuring high-quality production, and maintaining safety standards within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role requires technical proficiency with CNC machines, programmable logic controllers, and precision measurement tools to support efficient and accurate fabrication processes.
Duties
- Operate and monitor CNC machines including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and CNC programming to produce precise components.
- Set up and adjust equipment such as stamping presses, flexo presses, press brake machines, and fabrication tools to meet production specifications.
- Utilize CAD and SolidWorks for interpreting blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications to ensure accurate manufacturing.
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of machinery using hand tools and factory-standard procedures.
- Conduct quality control inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Handle materials safely within the warehouse or manufacturing facility, including materials handling and packaging tasks.
- Assist with tooling setup, fabrication processes, welding, assembly line operations, and fabrication tasks as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to safety protocols and operational standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating CNC equipment such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, or similar machinery in a manufacturing or factory setting.
- Knowledge of Fanuc controls, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CAM programming, GD&T principles, and blueprint reading.
- Ability to operate tooling equipment including stamping presses, press brakes, welding equipment, and fabrication tools.
- Mechanical knowledge with experience in machining, materials handling, assembly line processes, and quality control procedures.
- Familiarity with CAD software such as SolidWorks for design interpretation.
- Experience with precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers for quality assurance purposes.
- Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations related to machining tolerances.
- Warehouse experience or familiarity with factory environments is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot machinery issues efficiently.

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
