About The Role
eProductivity Software is hiring for a Sales Development Manager to join our team. This individual will focus on executing sales specifically for the corrugated/packaging industry. This is a telecommute position, but the individual needs to sit in the Eastern United States. This person will report to the VP, ePS North America Sales.
What You Will Do
- Manage all full-cycle sales activities within assigned territory including prospecting, client development, sales of emerging product and multi-product sales, onsite customer presentations, and sales campaigns.
- Develop & maintain a robust territory pipeline to generate new account sales
- Provide timely and accurate territory reporting, forecasting to sales management utilizing salesforce.com.
- Develop specific regional plans to ensure revenue growth in all eProductivity Software’s EPS Packaging products.
- Leverage eProductivity Software resources and capabilities inside Marketing, Sales, and the Business Unit towards the achievement of goals.
- Provide regular feedback to marketing, sales, and product management regarding products
- Establish and build relationships with eProductivity Software sales and technical support.
- Communicate regularly through personal visits, telephone calls, etc. with key contacts; field traveling is a must (50%).
- Attend all assigned tradeshows, open houses, association and other eProductivity Software events.
- Achieve revenue targets within operating budgets.
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in business or related field.
- Have a solid 5 to 10 years of enterprise MIS/ERP/MES software sales experience with five (5) or more years of field sales experience.
- Have a good understanding of the lifecycle of an order or business processes in the packaging business.
- Can handle complex technical sales cycles.
- Are knowledgeable and experienced with Packaging markets and the Packaging industry, definite advantage
- Demonstrated track record meeting/exceeding quota in a complex Sales role.
- Expertise in complete sales cycle management – prospect identification, qualification, discovery, ROI, proposal and close.
- Are a self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Experienced selling to various stakeholders within target organizations, including C-Level sales.
- Proven success turning cold calling into revenue-generating accounts.
- Have excellent presentation, negotiation and written communication skills.
- Establish effective communication with appropriate sales and technical managers to ensure proper sensitivity to all sales needs.
- Can manage accounts at a high level within the assigned region.
