Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Assistant to support our HR department in various functions related to human capital management. The ideal candidate will assist with employee onboarding, data management, benefits administration, and compliance activities. Responsibilities
- Support talent acquisition efforts through HR sourcing, ATS management, and conducting interviews
- Assist with employee orientation programs and onboarding processes to ensure smooth integration of new hires
- Maintain accurate HR data entry and manage HRIS systems such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, and UltiPro
- Administer employee benefits programs and handle benefits-related inquiries
- Help coordinate employee evaluation and performance management processes
- Support compliance with employment & labor law, OSHA regulations, workers' compensation, and affirmative action planning
- Contribute to change management initiatives and organizational design projects
- Assist with training & development programs and succession planning activities
- Manage employee relations issues with effective conflict management strategies
- Prepare reports on HR metrics using Salesforce, Paychex, Dayforce, Kronos, or other HR tools
- Support project management tasks related to HR initiatives and workforce management strategies
- Facilitate communication across departments regarding HR policies and procedures
Requirements
- Proven experience in human resources management or administrative roles within HR environments
- Familiarity with HRIS systems such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, UltiPro, ADP, Paylocity, or similar platforms
- Knowledge of employment & labor law, OSHA standards, workers' compensation procedures, and contracts administration
- Strong communication skills for effective employee engagement and conflict resolution
- Ability to handle data collection and entry accurately using tools like Data Entry systems or ATS platforms such as iCIMS or Lever
- Experience with social media management for employer branding or recruitment campaigns is a plus
- Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently
- Administrative experience supporting human resources functions is highly desirable
- Ability to adapt quickly to new HR technologies such as PeopleSoft or Taleo systems
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
