Position Summary:
The Circuit Breaker Technician rebuilds and refurbishes low and medium voltage circuit breakers.
Responsibilities:
- Refurbish & rebuild low and medium voltage circuit breakers.
- Diagnose problems and determine appropriate repairs to breakers.
- Work well without direct supervision and meet deadlines.
- Experience refurbishing & rebuilding Low & Medium Voltage Power Circuit Breakers.
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
- Complete a satisfactory criminal background check.
- Able to work overtime and travel out of town for periods of time.
- Able to climb ladders, stand for extended periods, able to lift 70 lbs.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and currently have and be able to maintain a good driving record
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s or associate degree in electrical/electrical technology, or Military experience.
- 3 years’ experience preferred
Education and Experience:
- 0–1 year Industry Experience or 2 Year Technical Degree
Physical Requirements:
- Able to climb ladders, stand for extended periods, able to lift 70 lbs.
