EPMA is supporting a leading enterprise client in the IT space hiring a Project Cost Controls Analyst to drive financial oversight across technology project portfolios. This role plays a critical part in ensuring IT initiatives are delivered within budget, accurately forecasted, and aligned with financial governance standards.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage cost plans across IT projects (labor, SaaS, cloud, vendors)
- Track actuals vs budget and maintain accurate forecasts (EAC)
- Perform variance analysis with clear root-cause insights
- Partner with IT Project Managers, PMO, and Finance teams
- Validate vendor costs (SOWs, POs, invoices) and support procurement activities
- Ensure compliance with financial controls and support audits
Experience Required:
- 3–6 years of project cost control / financial analysis experience
- Direct experience supporting IT projects (NOT construction or non-IT)
- Strong budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis (EAC) experience
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, financial modeling)
- Understanding of IT cost structures (labor, SaaS, cloud, infrastructure)
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with SAP or IBM Cognos TM1
- Exposure to IT PMO or IT Finance environments
- Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery models
- Experience with IT procurement and vendor cost tracking
- Understanding of IT portfolio or demand management
