What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Manager, Supplier Quality position at EPM Scientific?
I'm currently working with a mid-sized medical device company that is building out their U.S. market. They have an annual revenue of $1B and it's projected to continue to grow with new plans for the future. It's time to continue to build out their Quality leadership team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a team of Supplier Quality Engineers supporting contract manufacturing operations.
- Oversee quality systems and processes for a diverse portfolio of external manufacturing partners.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement global supplier management strategies.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product development, procurement, and operations teams to ensure quality standards are met.
- Manage relationships with contract manufacturers and ensure robust systems are in place to maintain product integrity.
The ideal candidate brings:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (Master's preferred).
- 10 years of experience in supplier quality or manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong background in quality systems, regulatory compliance, and design controls.
- Proven ability to lead geographically dispersed teams and manage complex supplier relationships.
- Expertise in project management, strategic planning, and global operations.
